Society often considers larger breasts as more attractive. To the woman whose breasts are so large that they cause her pain and embarrassment, bigger is not better. An increasing number of women are making the decision to have their breast size surgically reduced. Breast reduction surgery, also called reduction mammoplasty, is the removal of excess fat, tissue, and skin to make breasts smaller and improve symmetry. The procedure can improve your physical and mental health and help you start enjoying more of what life has to offer. The procedure begins with a consultation where you can discuss your expectations and goals with our resident plastic surgeon, Our doctors.

UTAH’S BEST BREAST REDUCTIONS

Breast reduction surgery typically takes between three and five hours and is usually performed as an outpatient procedure. During surgery, the surgeon will make incisions around the areolae. The number and shape of incisions depend on the size and shape of your breasts and the reduction you want. He will then remove some of the underlying breast tissue through the incisions. The surgeon will reposition and shape the remaining tissue and move the areolae and nipples higher on the breast. Sometimes the surgeon reduces the size of the areolas and he may use liposuction to improve contouring under the arm.

Modern MedSpa offers breast reduction surgery for women who desire a broad range of reduction levels. For those who require only a minor or moderate reduction, liposuction alone might be adequate to achieve the desired results.
