Jeuveau $12/unit

Jeuveau is a great option for women and men over 18 who want to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Jeuveau is typically used to treat areas such as the forehead, between the eyebrows, around the eyes (crow’s feet), and around the mouth. If you wish to treat different areas, we have other injectables that may suit you better.

You should refrain from getting Jeuveau injections if:

You have a history of allergies to any ingredients in the product

Have a history of serious allergies

Have a history of neuromuscular disorder

Are pregnant or lactating

Post-care

After your Jeuveau treatment, it’s important to follow the aftercare instructions provided by our injectors. This will ensure that you achieve the best possible results and minimize the risk of complications.

After your Jeuveau treatment, you may experience some mild side effects, including mild redness, swelling, or bruising. These side effects are common and will go away after a few days. To reduce swelling, you may apply a cold compress to the area.

Do not rub or massage the area for 24 hours after your treatment, as it can cause the Jeuveau to spread to unwanted areas. You should also avoid using makeup, strenuous exercise, and sun exposure for the first 24 hours after your treatment.

As Jeuveau is not a one-time treatment, our team will work with you to schedule your next treatments to achieve the best results.

How Jeuveau works

Like Botox and Dysport, Jeuveau is a type of neuromodulator, which is a medication that works by temporarily weakening the muscles that cause wrinkles and lines on the face.

Jeuveau is injected into the muscle using a very fine needle. Once injected, it attaches to the nerve endings in the muscle and blocks the release of acetylcholine, a chemical messenger that signals the muscle to contract. This results in a reduction of muscle activity and a smoothing of the wrinkles and lines caused by the muscle’s movement.

Jeuveau takes effect a few days after the injections, and the results typically last for 3-6 months. Like other neurotoxins, patients need to come back regularly to continue seeing results.

Jeuveau vs. Botox

Jeuveau and Botox are both popular options when it comes to cosmetic injectables. Both are neuromodulators that temporarily weaken the muscles that cause wrinkles and lines on the face. However, there are a few key differences between Jeuveau and Botox.

One of the main differences is the active ingredient. Jeuveau is made from a purified protein called prabotulinum toxin type A, whereas Botox is made from botulinum toxin type A. Prabotulinum toxin type A has been made specifically for cosmetic use.

Another big difference is how long the results last and the time needed between treatments. Jeuveau provides results that last between 3 to 6 months, whereas Botox lasts between 3 to 4 months.

Jeuveau and Botox are both approved by the FDA and considered safe when used correctly. However, Jeuveau is known to have fewer side effects than Botox.

In terms of price, Jeuveau and Botox are relatively similar in cost per unit. However, the total cost of the treatment will depend on the number of units needed. Schedule a free consultation with us to learn if Jeuveau or Botox is right for you.
